Afro-Greeks finds how, within the 20th century, generations of Caribbean writers, together with Kamau Brathwaite, Austin Clarke, John Figueroa, C. L. R. James, V. S. Naipaul, Derek Walcott and Eric Williams, created a particular, nearby counter-tradition of studying Greco-Roman Classics.
